Defend The Great Machine
A downloadable game
The great machine has been invaded by bugs. It is up to Jennifer to squash the bugs using her trusty bug squashing gun.
Controls:
- WASD/Arrow keys - move
- Mouse 1/Space - fire bouncing ball (will ricochet off walls, be careful they hurt!)
- Mouse 2/F - fire bean bag (won't bounce off walls)
- F3 - Debug mode - shows FPS and AI data. In debug mode F4 will spawn crawler and numeric keypad 2/4/6/8 jumps over walls.
- F11 - Switch to full screen mode.
- Z - adjust zoom (three levels).
Written in C# using MonoGame and the Aether.Physics2D library (because I suck at writing collision detection). All images are either my own or Creative Commons. Music by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com).
This is a homage to the 1983 DOS text-mode computer games Snipes.

It's really good but it's still pretty hard to win! I love music and the sounds are quite funny ^^. When the debug mode and activated and we move by jumping to the bottom of the screen, the game crashes. Moving and colliding against a wall causes a shake. It would be cool to display insect spawns on the map. As well as the numbers corresponding to the remainder that must be destroyed. And have a scoring system ... There is also a bug which does not display the level, we find ourselves in the center but we cannot move and if we shoot, the projectile is displayed while remaining frozen. I have no idea how this is produced at all because it seems pretty random.
